Sewage Report

A vital part of our nation’s economic recovery will be the restoration of the Great Lakes .
The U.S. Congress and President Obama have made Great Lakes restoration a national priority—yet the Lakes continue to be inundated annually with billions of gallons of sewage contamination that harms water quality, closes beaches and poses a threat to people and wildlife.

The event will highlight the economic and environmental benefits of investing in green solutions and traditional wastewater infrastructure improvements and will strive to build stronger partnerships among diverse stakeholders for increased federal funding to address sewage pollution in the Great Lakes .
