Hop a Bus to Lobby Day
Conservation Lobby Day is January 26, 2010 in Madison.
SWAN (Senior Water Advocates’ Network) has hired a bus to drive us to Madison and back. We would like to invite you to ride the bus with us and avoid the hassle of driving yourself, parking, and finding the meeting place.
The bus will pick us up at the Pettit Ice Rink on S. 84th Street just off of I-94 at 8:15 AM and return us about 6:00 PM, leaving Madison around 4:30 PM. The round-trip cost is $20.00 per person.
To reserve your seat on the bus, contact Milwaukee Riverkeeper’s Paul Schwarzkopf at 414-287-0207, Ex. 228 or at pschwarzkopf@milwaukeeriverkeeper.org. You can pay by credit card over the phone or by sending a check to:
Milwaukee Riverkeeper
1845 N. Farwell Ave. (Suite 100)
Milwaukee, WI. 53202
Members from other environmental groups are being invited to ride the bus, so get your reservations in as soon as possible to make sure you get a seat.
To attend the Conservation Lobby Day, you must also sign up with the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters. You can do so by registering on their website:
http://www.conservationvoters.org/Public/, or by calling Heather Mullee at 414-224-1696.
We hope to see you on the bus on January 26.
