Milwaukee Riverkeeper Recognized as Outstanding River Organization

On Saturday, May 1st Milwaukee Riverkeeper celebrated 10 years of the Department of Natural Resources' river grant protection program at the Spring Confluence of River Alliance of Wisconsin.

At the event, Milwaukee Riverkeeper was recognized as one of the outstanding river organizations in the State, and was presented with a "DECADE OF RIVER SUCCESSES" award, as well as commendations from State Assembly and Senate representatives, including Sandy Pasch, Michael J. Sheridan, Anthony J. Staskkunas, Jon Richards and Jeff Plale.
